Suppose that I change circuits of the device after filing a conformity verification report and find that there is no change in the noise level. Can I go ahead without filing a new conformity verification report to VCCI?

If there is no change in filed contents (model name, contact person etc.) there will be no need for resubmission of conformity verification report (change·addition). It is the responsibility of you company to manage measurement data.

Suppose I changed (1) cable length, (2) the type of connectors and (3) power supply scheme (AC adapter to direct supply from the system, for example) after I received acknowledgement from VCCI to my filing of conformity verification report. Will I have to do the measurement from the scratch?

It is judged that you applied technical modifications, so you are to redo conformity verification testing and keep the test report yourself. If machine type is changed or added you are supposed to file change/addition to conformity verification report or file new one (see Article 8, RULES FOR VOLUNTARY CONTROL MEASURES)

I need to change the suffix of the type of a product for the sake of the sales management. The product had been filed to VCCI as conforming to the limits. Will I have to reregister the product to VCCI?

If the type name initially registered can no longer be applied, you need to register the change of the product type followed by the conformity verification report (add to or change) .

Is it possible to change the class from A as originally registered to VCCI to B without changing the product type?

Please change the class to B upon confirmation that the subject product meets the limits of Class B and file a conformity verification report (change·addition ). In the column for the reason for the change please clarify from which production number and forward the change will apply.
