Will it be allowed to have the warning statement in the on-line manual or CD-ROM instead of printed instruction manual?
Yes, if the on-line manual or CD-ROM serves as the instruction manual in effect.
I have a product categorized as an option A device without an independent instruction manual accompanied. If the instruction manual of the base (parent) equipment covers the description on the Option device A, will VCCI approve the application?
If you plan to sell the option A product independently, you are required to supply an accompanying paper or manual stating the alarm of VCCI requirement.
Is it alright if I print a VCCI conformity statement on the carton of a product and brochures?
Is it alright to do so or even encouraged to do so. Examples of the statement are, “This is a VCCI Class B compliant product” or “This is a VCCI Class A compliant product” on packages, brochures and commercial web site among others. However, such samples as “VCCI certified product” or “VCCI certification obtained on this product” are inappropriate as VCCI scheme is a scheme of self declaration of conformity.
