We have a plan to spin off one of our divisions as a separate company. The new company will take over the production of a part of the product line we have, but after a certain period of transition the brand will be changed to the new company. The new company plans to join VCCI too. Please advise us how we should transfer products already registered to VCCI to our new company.

First of all please let the new company join VCCI as intended before starting marketing in the name of the new company. After that please file conformity verification report (add/change) on the transferred products. The past test reports can be used as they are on the condition that the structure of the equipment was not changed at all, so please surely transfer necessary documents including test reports to the new company and let the new company submit conformity verification reports (add/change) with test reports renumbered as appropriate.

A brand supplier to whom we as the original manufacturer supplied a product (registered to VCCI by us) has changed its company name. Please advise us how we should manage the situation with regard to VCCI.

Please administer conformity verification report (add・change) which shows the changed item.
