This question relates to the coverage of VCCI. I have a product (model) configured with a wireless communication unit, cable and PC card among others. Is this product (model) subject to VCCI scheme? The wireless unit is subject to the Radio act.
VCCI treatment of “wireless communication unit combined with ITE” is as follows. (1) Wireless communication unit is out of VCCI coverage as it is regulated by the Radio Law. (2) The ITE part such as PC card is subject to VCCI control, so you need to file conformity verification report to VCCI
